Important changes with the NDIS review process you need to know now

Following on from my Facebook live, I wanted to highlight some important points on the changes we are currently seeing so that you can be prepared for your future Plan Reviews.  Please remember – this information is based on the here and now (June 2021), but may change in the future according to the NDIS.

What's changed with the NDIS review process?

In the current NDIS environment we are seeing a lot of NDIS plans funds being cut which is just devastating for families who are not getting the support and funds they desperately need. As a result, we are seeing an increase in s100 RORD review enquiries (a Review of a Reviewable Decision) and Change of Circumstances (COC) reviews and sadly I think that this will continue in order for families to get the support they rightfully deserve and need.

What do I need to do?

All relevant and important information now needs to be included up front at the annual plan review stage rather than at the s100 stage of the process. The review teams will not look at or include any information that has not been included in the annual plan review. So it's really important that all your information is included in your annual review documents so that if you need to go to the s100 stage you are ready and prepared.

How can Inspires & Co help?
